| PML-N leaders power hungry, says Pervaiz |
| PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that the PML-N leadership has always sought meetings with the federal government over the demand for more power share but not once over the actual issues of people.
Talking to the media after a party meeting at the Muslim league House on Monday, Pervaiz said the PML-N leaders could not achieve a single accomplishment even when they had a two-third majority. He said the Sharif brothers should have weighed their performance before demanding more power as it was clear that they did not even deserve what they had got at present. |

| ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani gave an entirely new dimension to the ongoing judicial saga when he said in the National Assembly on Monday that no one should undermine the government on the issue of judges’ appointment and disclosed that the executive order signed by him in March last year to reinstate judges needed parliament’s approval.
Analysts saw in the address a veiled threat from the prime minister that if the opposition tried to cash in on the row between the government and the judiciary, the whole process would be derailed.

| Pervez Musharraf hints at return to politics |
| LONDON: Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf hinted at a return to politics in his homeland on Monday, saying he would “do anything for Pakistan” but the voters there must decide.
“I love my country and I would do anything for Pakistan,” the retired general, who was replaced last year in elections after nine years as president, told a meeting at the Chatham House think-tank in London.
